A new lower fee structure has been introduced by Slow headquarters in Bra, Italy, with membership fees set in Euros.

Joining Slow Food you will … receive the following membership benefits:

Basic membership is R70 annually.

- a personal membership card
- the Slow Food Companion (upon first joining)
- the annual Slow Food Almanac in electronic format
- the local Cape Town Slow Food Newsletter
- the opportunity to take part in initiatives organized by the association around the world

Existing members will continue to pay the Cape Town Convivium when notified that their membership is due for renewal. In both cases, membership cards will be dispatched from Italy.
