4. ST. CATHERINE’S LOG – by Rina & Norman Belcher of Belnori Boutique Cheesery, Petit, Gauteng. White mould goat’s cheese
5. GOUDA – by Christo Venter of Geluksfontein farm, Vaalwater, Limpopo province. Semi-hard goat’s milk cheese
6. OAK SMOKED CHEESE – by Jako van Beulen of Klein River Cheese, Stanford. A hard cheese smoked with oak
South African Qualite Awards
A Qualite Award is a symbol of outstanding quality for dairy products and is only awarded to South African Dairy Champions that have obtained a specific minimum point on the international scorecard. Only a very few products obtain this prestigious award every year and then are able to display the distinctive logo on their product.
